Cloud computing is a term used for services that are provided over the internet. Cloud computing software and products are accessed from a different computer than your own. Google Apps, Delicious, Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr are just some examples of cloud computing. Cloud computing in combination with netbooks and/or virtual computing is a low cost option for K-12 schools wanting to move toward 1 to 1 computing.
