ebook readers like Kindle are starting to become hot items on the market. eBooks are texts that have been published in digital form so that they can be read on your computer or on speacially designed reading devices like Amazon's Kindle. There are now over 1 million ebooks available online for people to download. Whether these will take hold in schools is still to be determined, however an alternative to the traditional textbook and novel might just change the way publisher provide content for the education community.
